I am a private tutor in Palo Alto, California. I am currently tutoring for high school and college students in Palo Alto and the towns surrounding it. I can travel to the students house.
I have more than nine years experience tutoring college undergraduates and four years experience tutoring for middle and high school. I have a variety of ways to explain some topics, since I have encountered so many different methods in students class notes and from other tutors.
Besides guiding students to understanding, I also teach them how to follow the conventions of notation and presentation of their work, how to read a textbook, and problem solving techniques that will help them become better learners. I also hope to teach by example the appreciation of math.
